For the health food nuts...

I was finally in the Greenway Plaza area on Saturday and craving a cold sweet treat...so I stopped at Berripop.  The frozen yogurt tastes like actual yogurt and isn't loaded with sugar like TCBY.  There are four different soft serve flavors and more mixin's than marble slab!  Of course there are the unhealthy options like Oreos, Heathbar, etc.  There's also Cap'n Crunch and Fruity Pebbles to top your cup o' goodness.  I decided to go with the pomegranate and raspberry topped with almonds...delich!!  It reminds me of this place, Counter Culture, that I used to love when I lived in Baton Rouge. 

So far the only location is on Richmond @ Westlayan in the strip mall with about twenty other eating establishments....Oporto, Collinas, some Thai place...  The good thing is that its designed for franchise opportunities...so who's gonna open one in my neighborhood???

ACL 2008 Lineup!!

It's official and the countdown till 3 days of pure musical bliss is ON! Upon first glance, I was a little worried....but after looking at the complete list....I'm beyond excited!! Let's just hope that there are no stints in rehab, anxiety issues or illnesses during the last weekend of September.

Last year I thought I would be the only crazy one with a highlighted & printed out schedule...nope....there were lots of other crazy people there doing the same thing. Now I just need to book our awesome hotel that supplied us with candy to take to the fest....and fresh baked cookies for us every night when we got back! Best hotel ever....

Ladies...it IS official and it is also my Friday off, so no worries that I will be watching the Today Show this Friday, April 4th to see the New Kids On The Block hangin' tough!!! The NKOTB website also has a countdown, but nothing else. http://www.nkotb.com/ For some reason this countdown has me almost as excited as the countdown till the ACL lineup is released this month.

OMG...I still can't believe the Joey, Jordan, Jon, Danny and Donnie are going to make a comeback. It's like a dream come true....and completely nostalgic. Speaking of nostalgic..."Alvin & the Chipmunks" comes out on DVD today! Maggie and I watched it on the plane ride back from Paris and we definitely were the only people LOL'ing in our area....and the guy in front of Maggie may have looked back to watch me laugh every time there was a joke :) "Ooooh eeee oooo ah ah...ting tang walla walla bing BANG!"
